Brentwood Elementary teachers use technology in the classroom and computer lab to implement curricula in the Program of Studies.  By incorporating technology in lessons and units, students are motivated to solve authentic problems, learn interactively, and share their newly formed understandings.

 Brentwood encourages collaboration among teachers - at their grade levels, across grade levels, and with specialists. Just as doctors may consult a colleague for a second opinion, teachers use planning periods to meet with others to discuss successful teaching strategies, share materials, and offer suggestions to address student needs. Many of the technology activities and units posted reflect the collaborative efforts of Brentwood teachers and specialists to meet the learning needs and styles of our students.
